Images are processed in your browser. Reducing the width preserves the aspect ratio.
JPG replaces transparency with white. GIF is converted to a still image of its first frame.

How to use

  1. Choose an image in the required source format. The output format is preselected.
  2. Optionally reduce the maximum width and adjust quality, then convert and download the result.

Formula and conversion method

JPG pixel = original color × alpha + white × (1 − alpha)

Worked example

900×600 WebP → width 450 px → 450×300 JPG

Things to know

Transparency becomes white. Animated WebP is converted to a still frame read by the browser; animation is not preserved.
