Images are processed in your browser. Reducing the width preserves the aspect ratio.
JPG replaces transparency with white. GIF is converted to a still image of its first frame.

How to use

  1. Choose an image in the required source format. The output format is preselected.
  2. Optionally reduce the maximum width and adjust quality, then convert and download the result.

Formula and conversion method

New height = original height × (new width ÷ original width)

Worked example

1000×500 JPG → width 600 px, quality 80% → 600×300 WebP

Things to know

WebP encoding depends on browser support. Output size varies with image content even at the same quality setting.
